Cyan Renewables previously operated under a three‑year agreement with QPS and, after a comprehensive assessment of alternative software providers available in the market, elected to re‑sign with QPS based on proven performance, operational reliability, scalability across complex offshore projects, and strong alignment with Cyan’s integrated digital workflows.
Immediately following contract execution, Cyan Renewables deployed Qinsy on a major offshore project incorporating the Qinsy Tug Management System (TMS). The operation was executed across a 9‑vessel spread, comprising:
1 × Floating Production Unit (FPU)
5 × Tug Boats
2 × Anchor Handling Vessels (AHVs)
1 × Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV)
The project was delivered successfully, with Qinsy’s multi‑vessel capability and Tug Management System providing robust, real‑time positioning, coordination, and survey navigation across the entire fleet.
Cyan’s client specifically highlighted the performance of the Qinsy Tug Management System, noting that its integration with Cyan Connect—Cyan Renewables’ proprietary solution for live video streaming and real‑time survey navigation between vessels and to shore—“worked really well” and materially enhanced operational awareness and decision‑making.
