QPS signs 5 year agreement with the Port of Rotterdam
QPS is happy to announce a 5 year agreement for supplying Qinsy, Qimera and Qarto to the Port of Rotterdam.
The Port of Rotterdam is one of QPS’s longest lasting customers with a successful and fruitful relationship over many years. Port of Rotterdam was one of the early adaptors of Qinsy and later expanded this with Qimera and Qarto
Over the years the Port of Rotterdam has become very successful in using QPS products to their benefit. They have created a workflow with QPS products to make the hydrographic data that was recorded and processed yesterday available in a bENC today.
The one day turn around time for a port as large as Rotterdam is unparalleled and shows the true capabilities of the QPS software and allows the Port of Rotterdam to make strategic decisions about ships entering and leaving the port.
QPS provides us with software to connect to the sensors on board our survey vessels and to collect and validate depth date with high quality and real-time quality assurance. The software products that QPS provides to us are very capable and assures that the Port of Rotterdam can do the necessary survey work. Using this kind of software supports us in our ambition to be not only Europe’s largest but also the smartest port. The Port of Rotterdam Authority is therefore happy to continue this good relationship with QPS.
