Technical Sales – Qastor Zeist (NL)

As we continue to expand our market presence in the maritime world and elevate our brand, we are actively seeking a talented Sales Representative to join our dedicated Qastor team.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of our customer engagement efforts, responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, joining conferences and hosting presentations. We value creativity, resilience, and a customer-centric approach in our sales representatives, and we provide a supportive and collaborative environment for you to thrive in your career.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a keen affinity with sales, actively engaging in product promotion and building a strong customer base.
  • Conduct autonomous market research to identify potential clients and acquisition opportunities in the maritime industry.
  • Effectively communicate and present our advanced navigation solutions during conferences and meetings.
  • Actively listen to customer needs, providing tailored solutions and building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Communicate closely with the development team and bring in solutions for the clients.
  • Use analytical skills to understand data and translate customer requirements into opportunities for our cutting-edge software.
  • Energize and expand our network through effective socializing and networking.

Qualifications:

  • Background or affinity with the maritime industry, preferably in maritime navigation.
  • Tech-savvy, comfortable working with various software tools.
  • Proven ability to autonomously conduct market research and determine acquisition steps.
  • Excellent speaking and presentation skills in conference contexts.
  • Analytical mindset to translate customer needs into concrete opportunities for the company.
  • Enthusiastic appearance with a passion for networking and socializing.
  • Is able to work legally in the Netherlands/EU.

Additional skills and abilities:

  • Affinity with sales, enjoying direct contact with people and actively participating in product sales.
  • Exceptional communications skills to keep internal and external stakeholders informed.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools and applications.
  • Knowledge about CRM systems, AFAS.
  • Effective time management, focusing on high-priority tasks to maximize productivity.
